For the font shop Contemporary Type, I developed short social media videos.
Titled „Fonts For Use“, the videos playfully reinterpret familiar workflows of font research, combining analog and digital tools, sound, and humor. Exploring the processes behind choosing a typeface, the concept shifts focus from finished applications to what comes before: inspecting, comparing, testing, printing, saving, revisiting.
For the second series „Hot Summer at Contemporary Type“ I developed a playful generative type tool with Processing. The sentence is placed on videos of summery scenes, sending out of office vibes.
