For the anniversary of 50 years of German Sesame Street, the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe (MK&G) Hamburg is hosting an exhibition.

“For five decades, the German Sesame Street has been presenting a diverse, inclusive, and imaginative community, entertainingly conveying child-friendly knowledge and inspiring creativity. In the areas of puppetry, costumes, sets, props, storytelling, animation, and music, the exhibition looks at the distinctive design of the NDR production, which remains creatively relevant. For the first time, the puppets and, more importantly, the creative minds and hands behind the scenes of the show get a chance to speak. […] An interactive magazine accompanies the exhibition, featuring sticker sheets and interactive pages for Sesame Street fans of all ages. It includes articles and interviews with the actors, along with insights from many creative minds behind Sesame Street.
